When the St.
Paul Pioneer Press published its list of the top 10 "most generous" philanthropists in the country last month, it didn't include one from Minnesota.
But that's about to change.
The St.
Paul & Minnesota Foundation, which describes itself as the " philanthropic arm of the St.
Paul Pioneer Press," has announced that its president and CEO, Ericlly Jolly, will give away $1 million over the next five years, the St.
Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Jolly, who is also the president and CEO of the Boys and Girls Club of St.
Paul and Minneapolis, says he's "thrilled" by the news.
"It's such a blessing to be able to work at an organization that is so deeply rooted in the community," he tells the paper.
He says the money will be used to expand the Boys and Girls Club of St.
Paul and Minneapolis' programs for at-risk youth.
